This policy explains how Parent Marriage Coaching ("we", "I", "Matt") handles personal information collected through parentmarriage.com and through coaching engagements with Matthew W. Hoelscher.
What we collect
- Contact form and booking information: the name, email, phone number, and any message you provide when you request a call or book a session.
- Coaching notes: minimal, private working notes taken during engagements to support your sessions.
- Basic analytics: aggregated, non-identifying information about how the site is used (pages viewed, referring source, device type) to improve the site.
How we use it
- To respond to inquiries and schedule sessions.
- To deliver, follow up on, and improve coaching engagements.
- To send occasional service communications related to your engagement.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
Confidentiality of coaching
What we discuss in coaching stays between us, with narrow exceptions: if disclosure is required by law, if there's an imminent risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or if you give explicit written consent. Coaching is not a legally privileged relationship in the way therapy with a licensed clinician can be, if legal privilege matters to your situation, please tell me before we begin.
Data storage and security
We use reputable third-party providers (email, scheduling, video conferencing, and website hosting) that are contractually and technically committed to protecting your data. We keep personal information only as long as it's needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to (a) tell you what information we hold about you, (b) correct it, or (c) delete it, subject to any legal record-keeping we're required to maintain. Email Matt@ParentMarriage.com to make a request.
Children
This site and this coaching practice are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Substantive changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
